One of Sheffield's leading companies is expanding its finance team due to company growth with an interim Finance Analyst. This company prides itself on its innovative solutions for clients and requires the skill of a new Finance Analyst to support the senior management team.

Your new role
As a Finance Analyst you will be supporting the finance teams The job will involve:

• Production of daily report detailing 'problematic' sales transactions from previous day.
• Providing enough detail to support a constructive conversation around performance.
• Consistently supporting the sales function.
• Directly reporting to the Finance Business partner with no direct reports this role will be imperative to the ongoing project and a high-profile position within the business.
• To provide daily data analysis in order to target follow up activities within the sales team.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will have worked in a fast-paced finance team previously, have experience with analysis and ideally be studying towards one of: AAT CIMA ACCA. In addition, this accounts assistant will need to demonstrate initiative, flexibility, resourcefulness and good time keeping.

Excellent communication skills and an appropriate level of technical skills will also need to be demonstrated within this role.

You will ideally have the following skills

• Strong Microsoft Excel skill
• Strong numerical skills
• Possess a good eye for detail
• Strong Self Starter with the ability to work "hands on"
• Data analysis
• Working with large data sets
• Be able to work with the Finance Business Partners, members of sales team and pricing team
