A well performing firm of chartered accountants that fully support their customers across the UK. This gives their clients a wide amount of business knowledge. This specific company are now recruiting a Payroll Assistant to join their team in order to grow and develop their payroll function, this involves a fast paced environment monitoring multiple and varied sized payrolls.
Your new role
The Payroll Assistant will work closely alongside an experienced Senior Payroll Clerk in order to develop their payroll skills and understand their clients utilising the payroll service. A basic understanding of payroll is required as the payroll assistant will be expected to assist with full processing of over 50 monthly and 10 weekly payrolls using Sage, generating reports and pensions.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this exciting and exclusive opportunity, candidates are required to have a basic understanding in payroll and pensions, be able to work effectively within a small team, show willing to develop their payroll knowledge and ideally experienced in using Sage.
What you'll get in return
In return a generous salary will be offered depending on experience, 20 days annual holiday allowance plus an an additional day for each year of service up to 25, statutory bank holidays, company pension scheme and various internal salary sacrifice options.
