As a Credit Manager for this blue chip Bristol based business you will be looking after a team of 8 staff on a fixed term contract for 6 months. Your core responsibility will surround the development of credit control policies and procedures to ensure there is an appropriate balance between risk mitigation and approach. You will also need to ensure the team's management of issues are appropriately escalated and handled in a timely manner. Your role as Credit Manager will cover: Proactive management of teams performance and identifying areas of development, support and ensuring they are addressed. Accountable for ensuring all company debt is collected in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure customer service standards and company procedures are adhered to, that all processes and administration is monitored and managed effectively to allow for the efficient operation of the team. Regular aged debt reviews with the team (both direct and indirect reports). Setting targets and monitoring KPI for team and function performance. Produce monthly board report information for the Finance Director. To be considered for this role you will need proven experience of working as a Credit Manager, experience of working in large blue chip firms and a proactive approach to process improvement.
