In return for strong performance the Business offer a bonus scheme against collected arrears to increase earning potential for the successful Credit Controller The successful candidate will take on the responsibility of varying account management as well as handling objections and ensuring relationships with clients are maintained. This Credit Controller will need to be dynamic in their approach and have a record within a similar role, experience within a B2C environment would be a benefit - however isn't a must The Role: Credit Controller - B2C On Offer: Salary £18,000 - £20,000 Bonus scheme based on collections Opportunity to display your own experience and knowledge in a new environment Working within a vibrant, market-leading environment Duties: Communicate and negotiate with clients by telephone, email and other methods To make payment arrangements with tenants and monitor the effectiveness of these arrangements To ensure accurate processing of monies received from tenants To ensure compliance with policies and procedures relevant to arrears collection To provide advice and support to both tenants and landlords in relation to arrears To liaise with branches to keep them apprised of arrears and maximise recovery To instruct and liaise with solicitors in relation to serving of notices to tenants To effectively monitor and report on arrears as required by the business To ensure accurate records are kept of all communications with tenants To contribute to the development and implementation of related policies, procedures and service improvement plans. The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in a Credit Control, Debt Collection, Arrears or similar role Good understanding of the Credit Control processes Experience in B2C Credit Control is beneficial but not a must Previous experience of outbound and inbound call handling The ability to work under pressure Good communicator with a confident telephone manner Questioning and negotiating skills Positive attitude Flexible approach to working Highly motivated and target driven Previous collections/credit control experience Previous lettings experience
