Cordant People has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our Industrial client in the Falkirk area. This is a full time, permanent position with a competitive salary. Leading the office accounts team you will support one direct report and will have responsibility for the accounts function. Your duties will include: Maintaining Purchase Ledger and picking up Sales Ledger, when required Processing a weekly payroll of around 11 staff members Processing supplier payments Carrying out banking Preparing and reconciling monthly accounts Generating weekly/monthly reports Ordering stationery Dealing with supplier queries Preparing spreadsheets, reports etc. Providing support to the business as a whole as and when required You will have experience of Sage Line 50 and will ideally have some knowledge of Pegasus to process payroll although full training will be provided on this. Working as part of a small office you must be comfortable supporting other departments in the business as well as carrying out your own tasks.
