We are currently supporting a growing organisation based in Melton Mowbray with their search for a Finance Manager. Reporting to the Head of Finance the successful candidate will take full responsibility for the delivery of accurate and reliable management accounts and to manage the management accounting department. Duties will involve; - Business partnering with the heads of departments for the subsidiary businesses, central support services and the finance team - Co-ordinate the budgeting process and review before presenting to the head of finance - Support the team as required in preparing the management accounts in line with the timetable - Review management accounts monthly to ensure the commentary and figures give senior managers the appropriate information to understand performance - Ensure balance sheets and supporting workings are reviewed and control accounts are reconciled on a timely basis - Assist with group's cash flow management - Co-ordinate the external audit process and draft statutory accounts Suitable applicants will: - Be fully qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA - Have a background in management accounting and technical accounting experience ideally within a complex group structure - Have excellent business partnering skills - Have strong people management and leadership skills - Be an excellent communicator and demonstrate the ability to influence at all levels For more information please contact Kayley.
