Hays are currently recruiting for a Payroll and Pensions Officer to join a busy Sheffield centre based Joining an established team you will be used to working in a fast paced environment.
Your new role
Your duties as a Payroll and Pensions officer will include but are not limited to the following.
Managing both weekly and salaried payrolls. Calculating tax deductions including all statutory payments. BACS Payments. Keeping up to date with all payroll legislation and compliance. Liaising with HMRC. Implementing Auto Enrolment where necessary and importing data to pension providers.
What you'll need to succeed
You ideally will be an experienced payroll professional with exposure to recent legislation changes within the sector. Pensions experience is preferred not essential for this position. Have excellent IT skills and have ideally worked on Sage - although this is not compulsory.
