Accounts Assistant - Widnes - Temp 4 + Months - £19000 - £20000
Your new company
You will be working for a large public sector client currently working in the Widnes area. They currently have a vacancy due to long term sickness and will need a requirement for at least 4 months but this could be an ongoing contract due to the illness.
Your new role
To provide of a high quality, proactive and customer focused financial service for the Trust in particular the Property Services (PS) department. To work alongside the Property Services Finance Manager to ensure the accounting system is kept up to date at all times. To assist in the provision of management information and guidance to the PS Management team and PS budget holders. To assist in the completion of the monthly management accounts for PS.To oversee the controls of the imprest van stock and prepare year end stock reconciliations for each individual maintenance technician's van stock.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous Accounts experience and if possible previous management experience of Purchase ledger. You will be used to working in a busy environment and working to tight deadlines. the system used is Open Accounts and previous experience of this is preferable.
