Key roles and Responsibilities
To lead and support the interim payroll team to ensure the payroll is processed timely and accurately whilst the new operating model is implemented.2. To manage the handover of work from the out-going Payroll Manager in her notice period.3. To lead on the delivery of a new Payroll operating model. Work with Deputy Director of Finance to produce a business case with recommendations.
To produce a project plan on approval. To lead a project team ensuring engaging with key stakeholders on the implementation and testing of the new system.iv. To document the new processes, ensuring these can be used as an aid for current and future staff with links to training materials as appropriate.4. To support the completion of outstanding items on the VL / casual worker systems implementation project and transition to remove any paper processes.Person
Operational and Manager experience of Payroll * Experience of managing and leading a project team to change a payroll system, in particular outsourcing a service and ensuring the project delivers on key objectives, including on time and on budget* Demonstrable ability to manage people and to bring the best out in them and to work effectively within a team.* Demonstrable ability to influence and build trust based relationships
