Description

Key responsibilities:

- Prepare the P&L account, balance sheet reconciliations and detailed reporting relating to revenues and costs on a monthly basis.

- Support the maintenance of the fixed asset register

- Set up accurate journals on a timely basis in order for the ledgers to show correct and up to date information

- Complete the company management accounts with responsibility for reviewing the full general ledger - to include: making accruals, correcting coding, reviewing the purchase order, depreciation and prepayments models prior to posting by Accounts Payable into the general ledger to ensure accurate accounting of costs

- Run and check the final P&L, Balance Sheet and Trial Balance each month in order to ensure all figures balance and are accurate

- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and schedules ensuring any variances are fully investigated and adjustments made accordingly

- Contribute to business budgeting and budget-reconciliation cycles

- Maintain an accurate budget-reconciliation model ensuring all changes as a result of communications with budget holders are reflected

- Support the monthly variance analysis and reporting of actuals vs budget and forecast

- Assist with preparing budget templates and analysis to support budget review meetings

- Ensure budget holders are fully informed of their spend
