In this new role as a Senior Finance Analyst you will provide high quality reporting, analysis and insight to influence and support decision making within the Superdry Retail function. Working closely with the Retail Heads to develop territory focused business plans, you will help model, implement and measure the sales and costs forecasts and provide support on performance and profitability.

You will

  • Support decision making by providing high quality, accurate insight with clear recommendations and present this back to the relevant stakeholders
  • Support the forecasting of retail sales and cost
  • Understand the key drivers of sales and cost variances providing insightful analysis on how to manage the risks and opportunities
  • Identify areas of risk and possible routes of mitigation
  • Set up dashboards and reports which provide regular performance insight for key metrics, making them easily accessible and understood by all stakeholders
  • Work closely with the rest of the finance team to ensure that the account entries are accurate and a fair reflection of performance with a good understanding of key variances
  • Build strong relationships with your stakeholders, listening and understanding their requirements and questions
  • Identify which data sources are required and gather these from the relevant business owners
  • Challenge the integrity of data to ensure true value add

You are

  • A qualified accountant with a background working in a Retail / FMCG environment
  • Highly commercial, with strong analytical ability and eye for detail
  • Experienced in producing valuable insight, building business cases and working with BI tools
  • A structured, logical thinker who can solve problems and adapt to business needs
  • Proactive, driven, resilient and able to work under your own initiative
  • An effective communicator, with the ability to change your approach depending on audience
  • Based locally to Cheltenham, with flexibility to travel across the UK and potentially Europe as required
