Hays are delighted to be working with an incredible global academic organisation who are looking for a Payroll Manager to join their busy team in Cambridge.

Your new role
As Payroll Manager, alongside all UK payroll activity and administration, you will also have overall responsibility for global payroll processing in 25 countries, working with Partners to ensure all contractual and legislative compliances are met. You will also manage the overseas payroll vendor management as well as assisting the organisation in their overseas expansion, providing valuable advice on areas such as new entity set up and changes to business registrations. You will have a confident, positive, "can-do" attitude with good organisational skills and a willingness to provide expertise and leadership to the payroll team and wider business.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be CIPP qualified, have a good understanding of overseas legislation relating to payroll and pensions and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will have the ability to lead and motivate a team based in the UK and work closely with advisors overseas and have a good business and financial awareness.You must have experience of managing a multinational payroll department, staff management and experience managing multiple vendor accounts.
