Your new company

One of our employers of choice near Lancaster is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant with Credit Control experience, to join their growing finance team and to support the Head of Finance and Assistant Accountants with all aspects of day to day finance.

Your new role

Your new role is an excellent opportunity to join an excellent finance team for a brilliant business. To assist in maintaining the companies accounting records, to process sales invoices and purchase invoices with a focus on debtor management. The role in the main will be managing the transactional finance and also managing company credit cards, expenses and bank transactions.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to demonstrate at least 2 years experience in a finance role within a B2B environment and ideally have AAT Qualifications or be qualified by experience. The business offers an outstanding learning and development programme, as well as on going training and mentoring as standard, and so this role would suit a candidate who would like to progress in a hugely growing business and a commercial mind who is happy to make suggestions confidently to management to ensure finance processes run smoothly and are consistently updated and maintained. You will ideally have SAGE experience and good Excel skills, be flexible, adaptable and open to change. As the role includes credit control it is imperative that the desired candidate has an excellent telephone skills and is a confident rapport builder.

What you'll get in return

You will receive an extremely generous salary of between £23,000 - £26,000 (depending on experience), 25 days holiday, excellent training and on-boarding, as well as the opportunity to get involved with staff incentives and events.
