Your new company

My client is looking for a Credit Control Team Leader to join their Manchester office on a 12 month fixed term contract with huge potential to go permanent. Their Credit Control team lead a balancing act of delivering excellent customer service whilst finding suitable ways for their customers to clear their overdue accounts.

Your new role

As a Team Leader with specialist legal debt collection knowledge you will maintain credit control & pre-legal procedures for more than 12,000 active debtors. You will work closely with their third party collection agency to ensure that they deliver a great service in line with their SLA's and legal regulations. You will do this through mentoring and training, enabling the team to perform at their best. As an experienced credit controller you will also be on hand to offer advice and handle any escalations.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role it is important that you have experience working in a Collections role in a business to business environment. My clients customers are varied, so they are looking for someone that has experience working with businesses of different sizes and with different needs. You will also have a great knowledge of legislation laws relating to insolvency and distressed debt and you will ideally be CICM qualified. With a strong commercial focus you will enjoy supporting the team in delivering a multi-million revenue stream and will be able to demonstrate where you have developed and delivered innovative collections strategies.
