Your new company
Your new company is a leading Hotel PLC based in Central London, though this role will have ownership of the finance function for 2, 4* hotels.
The Group function is going through a lot of change currently, and hence the creation of this new role to ensure that the company is in a financially robust point moving forwards.
The 2 hotels that fall as part of your remit have 600 bedrooms, and 150 bedrooms respectively, with a large proportion of income coming from the M&E side as well as the on-site restaurants.
Your new role
In your new role, you will take ownership of 2 hotels in Central London, ensuring that the finance teams based in each perform to their full potential and keep the business in the best place possible moving forwards.
Further to this, you will be responsible for attending the weekly management meetings, where you will gain key exposure to senior individuals in the business. It will fall on you to manage the budgets for the hotels, working with GMs to ensure sound cost control across the different departments.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a fully Qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA) - or have extensive experience at a senior finance level in the Hotels industry.
Further to this, experience working at property level, rather than Group is likely to be beneficial due to the hands on nature of this role.
