About the Bank

The Finance, Change and Value Directorate plays a critical role in protecting the Bank's financial position and reputation. The overall purpose of the Directorate is to contribute to the successful execution of the Bank's aims and objectives by ensuring it has an appropriate financial platform for its broader responsibilities, and for the challenges facing an organisation of more than 4000 staff, with annual expenditure of circa £570mn. The Finance Directorate has three Divisions, Financial Control and Payments, Financial Performance and Change and Value.

About the role

The Finance Business Partner Team sits within Finance, Value and Change and provides leadership on financial performance management across the divisional areas including strategic finance, management accounting, performance reporting, management information and decision support. This is a key role in providing effective financial management and control of the PRA operational cost base of c. £275m.  You will be building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with senior management and their teams and working with these stakeholders to prepare monthly management information, rolling forecasts and the annual budget.

About you

We're looking for an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant (or equivalent) with experience of finance business partnering. You will have the ability to establish and maintain excellent relationships with business and finance contacts at all levels of the business utilising interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skills. You must also be able to bring to life issues for senior management and turn financial data into easy to understand key messages with clear decision requirements
