Senior Financial Reporting & System Analyst

- administrate and manage the reporting system (IBM TM1/Cognos) covering: P&L, balance sheet, risk-weighted assets, client assets, headcount data and related key performance indicators (KPIs) manage and improve the data interfaces between the MIS and the main Group Finance data warehouse (SAP BW) as well as between the MIS and offline data sources, by designing, implementing, maintaining and automating interface functionalities in coordination with IT support the other teams in Group Performance& Analytics (GPAA) to ensure efficient time-to-market and accurate reporting to the Group's senior decision making bodies by efficient and accurate database queries into formatted tables using IBM TM1 Perspectives update queries and table formats following instructions of the onshore GPAA collaborate closely with other teams (Controlling, Accounting, Legal and CFO Areas) participate in UBS's internal reporting processes and products for Group Executive Board and Board of Directors disclosures by preparing and updating queries in the disclosure tables.
You will be working in the Group Reporting team within Reporting and Analytics Services (RAS) in Zabierzow, Krakow Business Park. Our role is to manage a global UBS Group reporting system (INSIGHT Group) for all data and key performance indicators (KPI) used in financial reporting and analysis for senior decision making bodies in UBS, such as the Group Executive Board (GEB) and the Board of Directors, as well as for external stakeholders such as regulators and investors and public disclosure and the Legal Entity Governance Reporting to the GEB and regulators.
Your experience and skills
- experience in reporting from SAP (SAP BO, BEX) and very good knowledge of IBM TM1/Cognos, Hyperion or similar reporting tools an academic degree in Finance, Economics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics or similar field the minimum of 4 years of experience in Financial Reporting, preferably in the financial services industry a good understanding of financial data and data structures.
- an expert user of MS Excel (preferably including VBA) fluent in business English comfortable with cooperating closely with senior stakeholders able to work within tight schedules and deadlines.
