My client are a fast growth, acquisitive tech business with an outstanding reputation for R&D and customer delivery.

Description

  • Involvement in acquisition financial due diligence
  • Preparation of initial and ongoing accounting entries for acquisitions e.g. intangible asset valuation, deferred consideration calculation

  • Preparation of monthly divisional P&L, balance sheet and cashflow statements including posting of journals into Sage 200 financial system
    • Assist in the preparation of the Group monthly accounts pack, which is circulated to the Board
    • Assistance in drafting statutory accounts and liaison with auditors

  • Quarterly VAT reporting

  • Cost reporting to monitor and investigate divisional performance against budget
  • Monitor performance of acquisitions

Profile

  • Qualified - ACA or ACCA
  • Strong technical knowledge - preferably including acquisition accounting
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills - especially Excel
  • Thorough approach and high attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to present financial information clearly
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong time management and organisational skills

Job Offer
