Your new company are an energy provider based in the Newport area.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Project Manager you will assist the finance team by carrying out the purchase ledger and sales ledger duties as well as entering company expenses. You will carry out statement reconciliations, matching invoices to purchase orders and following up on and resolving queries. You will also be required to carry out any general administrative duties as required.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience of working in a finance team carrying out ledger duties is required. You will have intermediate Excel skills (ideally pivot tables and vlook ups) and previous experience of working on Access Accounting Precision Lite software is desirable although training can be provided. The ability to pick up new tasks quickly and the ability to meet deadlines is essential.
What you'll get in return
In return you will receive an hourly rate of between £10 - £12 dependent on experience. There is car parking on site.
