Key responsibilities of the accounts assistant;
- Raise sales invoices
- Raise purchase invoices
- Bank reconciliation
- Match payment to invoices
- Petty Cash reconciliation
- Expense Claims
- Accruals and Prepayments
- Maintain fixed asset register
- Post journals
- Credit control
- General office ad hoc duties
The ideal accounts assistant candidate:
6-12 months accounting experience
Xero system experience preferable
Looking to study a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/AAT)
Progressive and personable
£20,000-£23,000 dependant upon experience with a comprehensive benefits package which includes study support.
