37 hours per week, all year round

Scale PO4/PO5. Actual starting salary: £36,019 per annum                                  

Trinity Academy is the outstanding flagship school in Trinity Multi-Academy Trust.  We are a growing Multi-Academy Trust, our CEO is a National Leader of Education and we are the lead school in the Trinity Teaching School Alliance and White Rose Maths Hub.

The team behind the success at Trinity are working to help those joining our Trust to replicate what we do for the benefit of children and young people, and achieve the vision of outstanding within outstanding across all providers within the Trinity Multi-Academy Trust.

The role of Management Accountant is an exciting new post within the trust. The purpose of the role will be to provide a professional accounting and financial service across the trust, working closely with the Chief Finance Officer in the strategic financial decision making. You will ensure the provision of the consolidated financial reporting to enable the trust to achieve its aims and objectives and provide assistance in budget preparation and budget forecasts.

The successful candidate will be CCAB qualified (ie ACA, ACCA CIMA or CIPFA) with experience in strategic planning, budget monitoring, cash management, forecasting and procurement. The ability to work as a strong leader and as a member of a team and experience of networking and building relationships with other schools is essential.
