Senior Management Accountant within a long established public sector organisation in Guildford, Surrey

You will be working for a large long established public sector organisation in Surrey. The company is set in a great location easily accessible by all means of transport, and has onsite parking.
Your new role
As a senior management accountant you will sit within the divisional finance team of 6 reporting into the deputy finance manager. You will be responsible for supporting the team and finance business partners with regards to all areas of budgeting and forecasting, with the main areas of your role covering Finance and business planning, reporting, productivity and efficiency, income maximisation, and workforce planning and reporting. This is a very varied role, and a great opportunity for someone who wants to focus on budgets and business partnering.
What you'll need to succeed
As well as studying towards your professional accounting qualification, you will have 2-3 years experience within management accounts or finance. You will also be a strong team player, with the ability to build relationships across different departments both internally and externally through excellent communication and concise financial information. You will have experience of using an accounting system and intermediate MS Office skills including MS Excel.
