Senior Accounts Assistant


A highly successful manufacturing business based in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire, is looking to recruit to the job of Senior Accounts Assistant.

This will be a standalone role within the financial accounting area and will support key finance professionals. You will ensure the cashiering function is run smoothly, assist with the allocation and payment of expenses across the business, manage multi-currency bank accounts, bank cheques and process BACS payments and operate and reconcile the petty cash system. In addition you will be responsible for updating the fixed asset register, maintaining other balance sheet account code reconciliations and assisting in the wider finance department.

You will have at least two years accounting experience and preferably hold an accounting qualification of at least AAT and ideally be familiar with large ERP systems.
