Hays Accountancy and Finance are currently working with a growing, successful organisation based in the outskirts of York.
Your new role
Within this role you will be creating and maintaining supplier, credit card and employee expense accounts. You will process timesheets and complete any associated reporting. It could be that you are completing bank reconciliations including all postings.
You will manage the petty cash float and ensure that it is regularly reconciled. It addition you will be assisting with the creation of the monthly management accounts, ensure billing is up to date and assist with the year end statutory accounts process.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will be AAT Qualified or have the equivalent experience. It could be that you are studying towards your CIMA,ACA,ACCA. You will have a proven experience within a accounts environment. You will be creative and enthusiastic with a keen eye for detail. You will have good knowledge of accounts software and Excel.
