Your new company
A London based law firm offering a bespoke legal advise service are looking to recruit within their finance team. This client focused firm are known for handling a range of commercial, corporate and property matters. They are a mid tier firm and pride themselves on their high level of service to clients.

Your new role
This is a 12 month Fixed term contract job as an Accounts Assistant that will allow you to get involved in all areas of the basic finance duties. As the Accounts Assistant your main responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Posting invoices & expenses
  • Making online payments- Client and Office
  • Recording cheques received in cheque log
  • Disbursements and WIP management
  • Client to Client Transfers
  • Daily posting Client & Office cheque payments out
  • Reconciliations
  • Billing - as required

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this Legal Accounts Assistant role you will have previously worked within the legal sector within a finance based role - you will have some experience of transactional finance and be up to date on your SARs (Solicitors Accounts Rules) knowledge.
