Page Personnel are exclusively recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant for a large and progressive business in Nottingham. Our client is offering opportunities to progress and learn, a salary between £19,000 and £21,000 and full study support.

Client Details

Our client is a large, fast paced and market leading business. It has state of the art head offices just outside of Nottingham city centre. It is a business that promotes from within and develops its employees, which is highlighted through it offering all finance staff full study support for AAT, CIMA or ACCA.

Description

The Assistant Management Accountant will be working closely with two Management Accountants. Duties will be very varied and will include, but will not be limited to:

  • assisting with producing and reviewing P&L accounts
  • assisting with investigating any anomalies in the accounts
  • balance sheet reconciliations
  • producing weekly margin reports
  • accruals and prepayments
  • being the point of contact for finance queries relating to the P&Ls
  • month end reconciliations and journals
  • assisting with the annual budgeting process
  • ad hoc tasks

Profile

To apply for this role, you:

  • must be competent with Excel (ideally the ability to complete v look ups and pivot tables)
  • must be competent with double entry bookkeeping
  • must have experience of working in a finance team
  • will want to work in a fast paced and progressive working environment
  • will have the ability to communicate with people on varying levels
