Graduate Finance Officer
Robert Half are currently engaged with an extremely exciting tech start-up company based in the west end of Edinburgh. The business is going through a period of rapid expansion due to increased demand for its products, and as such, requires fresh talent to oversee its finance function.
- Your Profile -
You will be a fresh graduate, straight out of university with a 1st or 2:1 honours degree in accounting/finance, able to learn very quickly, and adapt to an ever-changing market. You will have a strong work ethic, with a "work hard play hard attitude". You'll have the ambition and passion to push yourself and the company to success, and be eager to be challenged and developed.
- The Role -
Due to organisational re-structuring, you will be the main point of contact for all aspects of accounting and finance. Hands-on training will be provided in-house to get you up and running. The tasks you'll be involved with are:
- Raising sales invoices timely and accurately
- Inputting accounts payable for approval
- Bank reconciliation across multiple accounts and currencies
- Credit control and managing accounts receivable
- Expense management
- Preparing and presenting monthly management accounts
- Cash flow management
- Holiday & sickness tracking
