Page Personnel are recruiting four our client, a multidisciplinary Cost and Project Management Consultancy, working primarily in property and construction. Due to their ambitions of growth they are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their busy team in their modern offices located in Central London.

Client Details

Our client is a multidisciplinary project management consultancy. Their specialisations include Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying and Infrastructure & Project Finance. Due to their ambitions of growth a new opportunity has arisen to join the accountancy team as an Accounts Receivable Assistant.


Key Areas of Responsibility for the Accounts Payable Assistant:

* Administrate purchase ledger; batch and code invoices in Microsoft Dynamics AX
* Process payment runs twice a month, plus ad-hoc payments, by BACS
* Receive and verify employee expense reports
* Process company expenses payments twice a month by BACS
* Reconcile supplier statements
* Post daily cash receipts
* Prepare bank reconciliations
* General ledger reviews and reconciliations
* Review and post employee timesheets
* Assist with year-end statutory audit and tax computations
* Set up and maintain supplier accounts
* Manage the finance group email account
* Follow up and resolve all queries on a timely basis
* Carry out general ad-hoc finance or administrative duties


Ideal Candidate Profile for the Accounts Payable Assistant:

* Should be studying towards a professional accounting qualification
* Experience of project / job cost accounting
* Good financial systems experience - knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX would be advantageous
* A good working knowledge of Excel
* Able to consistently produce high quality work with good attention to detail
* Able to work towards and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision
* Able to work under pressure and adapt to changing reporting and business needs
* Able to respond to queries/requests promptly
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to work with management-level colleagues from both financial and non-financial backgrounds

Job Offer

£20,000-£25,000 plus benefits
