Page Personnel are recruiting four our client, a multidisciplinary Cost and Project Management Consultancy, working primarily in property and construction. They are looking for an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join their busy team based in our modern offices in Central London.

Client Details

Our client is a multidisciplinary project management consultancy. Their specialisations include Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying and Infrastructure & Project Finance. Due to their ambitions of growth a new opportunity has arisen to join the accountancy team as an Accounts Receivable Assistant.


Key Areas of Responsibility for the Accounts Receivable Assistant:

  • Set up client projects in Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • Update any client fee variations
  • Prepare and issue sales invoices on a timely basis
  • Issue credit notes in line with correct sign off
  • Prepare a weekly credit control report
  • Chase client payments, document progress and deal with any issues or queries effectively
  • Provide the Financial Controller with an aged debt status update on a weekly basis
  • Produce and issue quarterly client statements
  • Carry out company credit checks
  • Prepare month end reconciliations for review with Financial Controller
  • Review and post employee time sheets
  • Assist with year-end statutory audit and tax computations
  • Carry out general ad-hoc finance or administrative duties
  • Support the wider finance team as required


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Should be studying towards a professional accounting qualification
  • Experience of project / job cost accounting
  • Good financial systems experience - knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX would be advantageous
  • A good working knowledge of Excel
  • Able to consistently produce high quality work with good attention to detail
  • Able to work towards and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Able to work under pressure and adapt to changing reporting and business needs
  • Able to respond to queries/requests promptly
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work with management-level colleagues from both financial and non-financial backgrounds
