To assist in the smooth running of the Accounts Payable department. This is an exciting time to be joining the Accounts Payable team due to growth and our client are currently implementing a new accounting package called Microsoft NAV.

Our client is the Market Leader in their sector and are a large highly successful international business. Due to growth there currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join the team based in the Farnham, Surrey office

Description

As an Accounts Payable Assistant based from the Farnham, Surrey office you will be responsible for:

  • Coding, batching and processing of invoices onto supplier accounts
  • Reconciliation of Packs
  • Processing petty cash returns
  • Reviewing staff expense claims to ensure VAT and coding correct and supporting documentation attached
  • Payment runs - BACS/Cheques - Cheque Writers (One Off Payments)
  • Liaising with branch personnel and suppliers
  • Supplier Statement Reconciliation's
  • General office duties
  • Profile

  • Previous Accounts Payable experience is desirable but not essential
  • Our client will consider candidates looking to move into their first finance role but also experienced Accounts Payable candidates
  • Use of accounting package such as Navision (NAV), SAP or Oracle desirable
  • Good eye for detail
  • Willingness to learn

    Salary £18,000 - £20,000 depending on experience, 23 days holiday, stake-holder pension, on-site parking, potential study support package, subsidised restaurant facilities, Childcare Voucher Scheme.
