New Company Secretary Role for Multi-National PLC in the Manchester Area
Your new company
The company are listed on the stock market and have shown consistent growth over the past decade. Due to a an internal re-shuffle, they now require a company secretary to work closely with the senior management team.
Your new role
As the company secretary, you will be responsible for various tasks. You will file details of significant changes in company share capital and submitting confirmation statements. These include making sure all information on companies house is up to date, financial statements and auditors reports are submitted on time and the business model/register of the senior management team is published and updated when required.
You will also have responsibility for other matters including insurance and pensions, managing the company's premises and VAT registration. Experience in these areas are essential.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be a qualified accountant due to previous incumbents being so, although this is not a necessity. However, you must have experience within a PLC environment, ideally in a secretarial role. Further, you must be able to demonstrate a pro-active nature and outstanding organisation skills.
What you'll get in return
The salary is flexible, but has been pitched at the £50,000-£55,000 mark. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a well-established and high performing team. You will be a key cog in the organisation, working with various members of the board on a daily basis.
