You will be working for a inventive catering organisation based on the outskirts of Woking, Surrey. The company has just been through a restructure, and now has a vision for growth.
Your new role
As the Finance Manager, you will be reporting into the Finance Director, and over seeing the transactional function of 2 (Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable). You will support the Finance Director by ensuring all month end routines are undertaken by other team members to enable sign off. You will be responsible for the necessary adjustments, accruals and prepayments required for the prep of the management accounts. You will complete the monthly management account reporting pack with analysis and commentary, along with preparing the necessary audit files for review by audit and FD. You will also be responsible for producing accurate annual budgets and forecasts also.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful within this role, you should have previous experience in a similar role, as well as studying towards an accounting qualification. You should have a good academic background, ideally degree educated, and previous systems skills of Sage and Advanced Excel are essential. You will be a hands on manager prepared to support and cover other team members, and work well within the team. Excellent communication and organisational skills, along with ability to use initiative and a proactive nature will be necessary.
