Page Personnel Finance are recruiting for a Management Accountant for our client, a high-end family office representing the business interests of a high-net worth individual.

Client Details

Our client represents the business interests of a high-net worth individual, sat within a high-end family office a short walk from Covent Garden in London's West End. Due to growth within the family's portfolio, an opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join their accountancy team.


Located in London's West End, our client is looking for a Management Accountant with responsibility for:

  • Supervising the work of the accounts assistant including coding of invoices into correct nominal ledger and department codes, review of purchase ledger, review P&L nominal ledgers, review bank reconciliations, review specific projects and giving guidance to accounts assistant as required.

  • Monthly management of the royalties process including preparing royalties invoices, reviewing royalties statements, maintaining the various royalties control sheets

  • Monthly review and management of aged debtors

  • Prepare quarterly management accounts for 6 UK companies

  • Prepare yearly accounts for 12 companies in preparation for the yearly audit

  • Assist with the yearly audit

  • Prepare with yearly accounts for 4 trusts and one small charity

  • Prepare quarterly VAT returns for 10 companies

  • Review of monthly management accounts for Italian company and preparing variance analysis

  • Preparation of quarterly analysis of worldwide family expenditure including a variance analysis against the budget

  • Prepare tax files for UK and US tax advisors

  • Maintain fixed asset registers

  • Prepare a monthly intercompany reconciliation of all intercompany loans and balances

  • Covering the work of the accounts assistant when they are on holiday or on sick leave

  • Various other analyses and project work that will be needed from time to time

  • Assist the other members of the team when required


The successful candidate will have:

  • Knowledge and working experience of Sage: essential

  • Experience of preparing management accounts: essential

  • Proficient with Excel including vlookups, pivot tables etc. - essential

  • Supervision of junior staff: desirable

  • Experience of working in a SME environment: desirable

Job Offer

Salary of £28,000-£35,000
