Management Accountant required to join a well established education provider in Melbourne in CBD.

Your new company

Hays have been retained by our client, a leading international education institute based in Melbourne CBD.

Your new role

Working directly with the finance director, you will be responsible for the preparation, analysis and communication of financial & management reports, analysing business performance, preparing annual budgets and rolling out forecasts.You will be senior to a team of 5, manage the cash flow and oversee statutory compliance requirements.

This is a senior role within the organisation and you will play an integral part of the success within the finance team and bridging the gap with other departments. This is a challenging and demanding role and requires someone who does not have a 9-5 mentality, you will be part of the senior leadership team and will be involved in all aspects of the business.


What you'll need to succeed

You will be a CPA/CA qualified accountant with 5-7 years of experience, preferably gained within a service industry. With strong communication skills and excellent stakeholder management experience, you will bridge the gap between finance and other departments within the university.

You will have strong management experience, excellent problem solving skills and preferably experience with Sage.


What you'll get in return
