The main focus of the Part Qualified Commercial Analyst will be to:

  • Take control of all aspects of Balance sheet accounts
  • Ensure Month end analysis is completed
  • Producing Financial and Year End Accounts with commentary and analysis over numerous cost centres
  • Being the point of contact for key non finance directors and detailed breakdown of specific business areas.

Based in Thame this is easily commutable from Oxford, High Wycombe, Bicester, Aylesbury, Slough and surrounding areas.

Description

The main focus of the Part Qualified Commercial Analyst will be to:

  • Month end analysis of warranty portfolio to report on active and closed contracts - portfolio movements, updated cost forecasts and adjusted loss provisions.
  • Ensure the sales order board is monitored (weekly) and the correct margin is reported.
  • On average 12,000 orders per year.
  • Reconcile all related balance sheet accounts every month and ensure agreed actions are followed up.
  • Balance sheet accounts total c£100m, and are tracked/reported on a specific basis.
  • Ensure payments to dealers/customers and other third parties are paid on time and in line with approval matrix and agreed sales actions.
  • 1,800 transactions (avg) are processed per year totalling c£12m

There are 40,000 contracts in the portfolio.

  • Month end analysis of the portfolio to report on sales, cost of sales, profit and intercompany transfers.

There are 15,000 contracts in the portfolio. These generate c£45m per annum turnover

  • Manage the external sales audit program, ensuring regular reviews and follow up actions.
  • 50 Sales audits are conducted per annum (by an external auditor)

Profile

Ideally you will be actively studying towards a qualification and looking for a highly commercial role in a brilliant company.

An ability to work and manipulate large volumes and values of data is crucial, as is an ability to communicate your findings in detail throughout all levels of the business.
