Finance Manager job in the tourism industry

This Finance Manager role is for a qualified accountant, working in a leading tourism company owned by one of the world's largest tour operators. This business offers a wide range of travel opportunities, including flights, tours, experiences and adventure holidays, with a £40m turnover and 70 staff across two offices.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, as a Finance Manager you will run the small but busy Finance Team, whilst also taking responsibility for the key finance functions, namely, management accounts preparation, inter-company reconciliation, payroll, VAT and budgeting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a team of 2 non-qualified accountants, including an AP and AR.
- Management accounts preparation
- Intercompany reconciliation
- Bi-annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts
- multi-currency banking
- liaising with internal and external auditors
- Payroll and VAT
What you'll need to succeed
This business is looking for someone with experience in the leisure, tourism or hospitality sector to join their team. You will either be; ACA qualified from practice, where you have been exposed to working with SME clients, ideally within the leisure and hospitality space. Or, A qualified accountant within the leisure and hospitality sector
