Day-to-day management of the core finance functions – accounts payable, receivable, sales invoicing, management account preparation (including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis), manage cash flow and revenue recognition calculations and forecasts. Develop effective processes to control and monitor the financial performance of the business, supervising a small team.
Manage a small team and the day-to-day running of the finance function – developing and enhancing processes and the control environment.
Prepare monthly management accounts including variance analysis and commentary.
Prepare analysis of new business pipeline and track movements and trends. Run process to ensure data is up-to-date and coordinated across the business
Prepare weekly cashflow reporting
Prepare analysis on upcoming committed workloads and liaise with resourcing departments, study directors and project managers – ensuring adherence to processes and data integrity.
General accounting duties when required particularly at month, quarter and year end (accruals and prepayments).
Qualified/Finalist/Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA
Clear understanding of core management accounting activities
Good excel skills.
