Business Performance Manager
The Lake District National Park Authority is currently pursuing a far-reaching transformation agenda to enable us to build on our success and become even more efficient, commercial and innovative. We want you to be a part of shaping how we can deliver a step change in commercial performance.
As an Authority we maintain a proactive approach to managing our finances and finding ways to improve the things we do and the services we provide. To support our transformation we need to embed robust business processes, performance metrics and scorecards across our teams.
We are seeking a passionate, committed and motivated individual to lead this work across Commercial Services. You will have financial acumen, leadership and change management experience with the ability to inspire, manage and deliver through a matrix structure.
You will be a talented individual with excellent numerical skills and experience of LEAN, World Class, Six Sigma or other similar data mining techniques.
You will have a background and experience in process improvement. You will have an eye for detail. You will be able to create and manipulate commercial data sets to summarise performance into clear dashboards that demonstrate where improvement effort needs to be focussed. You will benchmark best in class commercial performance to set meaningful targets for us to aspire to.
Whilst demonstrating a passion for using data to analyse and drive results; you must be able to share this passion with operational managers in a coaching environment. Your role is to embed performance management, contribution tracking and pareto techniques in to junior commercial manager’s toolkit of skills as a legacy of your time with us.
