Page Personnel are recruiting a Finance Manager to join a well known SME in Wythenshawe.
A well established SME - specialists within their chosen field - are recruiting a Finance Manager to join their team.
The role will look after a finance team, and offer progression to Financial Controller position within 12-18 months for the right person.
As the Finance Manager, you will be reporting into the Head of Finance, responsible for ensuring the efficient running of the finance function.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: management of a team including appraisals, day to day management and 121s - overseeing all areas such as Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Credit Control, etc; producing Management Accounts on a monthly basis; balance sheet reconciliations; financial reporting; reviewing of management accounts for smaller business; VAT returns; payroll reconciliations; MI reporting; commercial support to internal stakeholders; budgeting and forecasting; cashflow control; preparation of year end accounts.
The successful candidate will:
- Be studying towards ACCA/CIMA - Or Have Equivalent experience - Essential
- Have recent knowledge of producing Management Accounts - Essential
- Have knowledge of supervising a team - Essential
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills - Essential
