An Interim Director of Finance - Charity is required by a great charity who deliver an interesting range of services across the UK. This role will be based in Leeds and will be tasked with ensuring that all the business as usual activities take place, but will also will seek to make improvements and achieve efficiencies within the finance team.

As Interim Director of Finance you will use your accountancy skills and experience to strategically review the finance team and improve processes and systems in collaboration with the senior leadership team and the board as well as ensure that the day to day running of the finance function continues smoothly. You will be responsible for presenting at board meetings and to trustees and ensure that all internal and external relationships with key stakeholders are maintained and improved where needed.


To be successful within this Interim Director of Finance - Charity role you will need to be a fully qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / CIPFA / ACCA) with a proven track record of delivering change within a finance function. Ideally you will have previous experience of working within a charity or not for profit or ideally an SME sized environment where you are happy to work at all levels within the finance team when needed.
