Robert Half Accounting and Finance are recruiting for a Hospitality business that has one of their offices in Aztek West, the business gone from strength to strength since opening and now has a great reputation not just in Bristol but across the UK. The business is looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Manager to help with the Finance Function. The successful candidate will be reporting into Financial Controller.

Role: Purchase Ledger Manager

Key Objectives, Duties & Responsibilities

  • To process invoices, credit notes and payments accurately and promptly:
  • Review general ledger coding when processing and clarify / amend where necessary
  • Liaise with staff to approve invoices and to resolve queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Quickly form positive relationships with suppliers, ensuring payments made with agreed payment terms
  • Assist suppliers with purchase request and purchase order set-up queries
  • Review the purchase ledger email inbox
  • Document storage and management
  • To undertake supplier statement reconciliations as required
  • To provide a clean Aged Creditors report to the Financial Controller on a regular basis
  • To carry out any other duties as requested by the Financial Controller

Essential Skills & Characteristics

  • Adaptive and able to learn quickly
  • Ability to influence others with good communication skills
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and experience using accounts software
  • Methodical approach to work processes and procedures with the ability to juggle tasks effectively
  • Ability to prioritise both your own and the workload of others to meet deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Motivated and efficient individual
  • Ability to show initiative and suggest changes for improvement
  • Willing to be hands on team member helping with any task that needs completing

Salary: £23,000 - £25,000
