Project SAIL is a strategic multi-year programme to implement an Oracle automated AML monitoring system (FCCM). Oracle FCCM is an industry standard, proven, configurable and scalable system that will ensure that the bank can implement the automated transaction and customer monitoring required to meet the AML policy and increasing regulatory expectations. The project will cover all customers, geographies, transactions and products within SCB over 3+ years.

The primary purpose of this role is to develop and deliver the communication strategy to support the successful implementation of the strategic anti money laundering monitoring solution, known as Project SAIL

Key Roles and Responsibilities

In addition the role will:
* Engage with the project workstreams and key stakeholders to develop an insightful point of view of Project SAIL's key objectives and implementation approach in order to develop creative, impactful and engaging communications
* Work closely with the country implementation managers coaching and supporting them to deliver timely communications the build awareness and understanding of the planned changes
* Support senior stakeholders with high impact communications for engagements with regulators and other influential external bodies

Planning
* Develop the communication strategy and plan for the strategic AML monitoring project, known as Project SAIL
* Align the communications planning with external requirements to engage regulators, internal requirements of the Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) function and requirements related to country implementations

Central coordination
* Work with stakeholders to advise on impactful and relevant communications approach; develop and prioritise communications based on overall Project SAIL plans and milestones e.g. content development, timing, channels, frequency, audience, etc
* Coordinate with the overall Financial Crime Risk Mitigation Programme and relevant teams in Corporate Affairs to ensure delivery of effective, brand compliant communications via agreed channels e.g. Group channels, Group Client Segment & Product channels, Regional and Country channels etc
* Provide quality control for all global and targeted communications for Project SAIL
* Ensure communications are delivered in a timely manner to support delivery of Project SAIL
* Be a central point of quality control and issuance of project communications, ensuring alignment of communications with key programme and Group messages and themes

Develop key messages and communication materials
* Work with stakeholders to develop key messages and communication materials tailored for specific internal and external audiences
* Develop communication materials to ensure consistent understanding of Project SAIL. This should be delivered in the wider context of our commitment to combat financial crime internally
* Develop a communications toolkit, which assimilates the best in class materials, for use with each country implementation to enhance the quality, timeliness and efficiency of the Project SAIL communications approach.
* Develop WIIFM (what's in it for me) communications to drive engagement from middle management, other relevant stakeholders and end-user groups, with the aim to create buy-in for and support for change

Qualifications and Skills

* Define and implement tools and procedures to measure effectiveness of communication efforts and identify ways to improve results
* Assist with readiness assessment for delivery of change as related to communications
* Produce lessons learnt on communication delivery, as required and as part of Post Implementation reviews
Skills Required
* Advanced skills in graphic design, visual communication and communication design required
* Program Management, Change Management Experience and AML Subject Matter Expertise an advantage
* Ability to collaborate and work dynamically across a broad range of stakeholders, cultures and locations
