Your new company
Hays are currently partnered with a market leading engineering business who are looking to strengthen their existing finance team with a finance assistant with previous experience of Sage line 50.

Your new role
You will be responsible for maintaining sales and purchase ledgers. cash book management, bank reconciliations, credit control and account queries.

Coordinating collection of debt and direct debit on monthly basis and arrange/authorise bank transactions. Update and manage spreadsheets and word documents as required, produce monthly management reports, VAT returns and year end preparations.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience of sales and purchase ledgers, invoice generation, bank processing and petty cash transactions,bank reconciliations.You will also ideally have experience of running a credit control and VAT return function.
