Description

General responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate posting of financial transactions within accounts of responsibility including journal entries and interfaces
  • Process and resolve differences and exception that arise from transactional processes
  • Support period end financial closing activities
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for your areas of responsibilities Research and analyze any unmatched and / or out of balance entries. Monitor ageing and clear open items
  • Produce routine reports, schedules, and summaries
  • Meet performance targets related to R2R ( record to report)
  • Prepare outside auditor schedules to support annual audit and special audit requirements
  • Understand and apply relevant process controls for running finance operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Team Leader or Senior Financial Accountant

Customer and Stakeholder relationship responsibilities:

  • Serve as an initial point of contact for market customer queries and build a good personal relationship
  • Take responsibility to resolve issues to follow through on actions to ensure good customer experience. Own the outcome
  • Escalate as necessary any customer issues related to queries to the Senior Financial Accountants/ Team Lead
  • Work closely with the outsource provider to ensure activities carried out are correct and assist in resolving queries

Continuous improvement

  • Building up solid process knowledge in FS R2R, ensuring end to end responsibility for processes in scope
  • Proactively contributing towards service or process improvement initiatives by the Team leader or Subject Matter Expert, highlight areas of improvement

Profile

Required Education/Experience/Skills

  • Previous relevant Accounting experience
  • Must display a customer service focused attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self motivated and displays initiative in solving problems
  • Ability to plan and manage workload to ensure all key deadlines are met
  • Actively seeks to improve processes making them more effective and efficient
  • Proven ability to work as a member of multi-functional and multi-cultural teams
  • Business fluent in English

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills

  • Business fluent in Polish language
  • Ideally newly qualified or studying for accounting qualification
  • Previous experience in Financial Accounting and/or R2R process stream involvement within large multinational
  • Previous experience of working on the Polish market within accounting function

Job Offer

6 month contract initially

Circa £200 - £213 daily rate
