Job at Top 30 Chartered Accountancy Practice for a Credit Controller to join its finance team

Your new role
You will be part of the firms' finance team in the credit control department reporting to the finance director. You will be working closely with the other credit controller to ensure clients are chased on time and in line with the firms' internal processes whilst ensuring that all collection notes are kept up to date. You will be producing and sending collection correspondence to customers and follow up telephone calls. Any payment disputes and problems will be dealt with in conjunction with senior management and the firms' internal policies. You will be responsible for communicating internally with the partners providing weekly debtor updates the the finance director.

What you'll need to succeed
a minimum of two years experience working in credit control in a professional services environment, preferably in a practice accountancy firm. You will have excellent communication skills both written and oral and shall be well versed in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Working with the wider accounts team you will have strong internal communication skills, attention to detail and time management.
