The Role

Robert Half Finance & Accountancy are pleased to be supporting our client, a successful Telecoms business who are recruiting a Commercial Finance Analyst/ Business Partner position based in Amersham.

This is a newly created role to support the Commercial Finance Manager to deliver a trusted Business Partnering relationship with stakeholders internally, across shareholder and Supplier organisations.

The role is responsible for all aspects of the financial management for the operations and IT business units. The role includes management & financial accounting, business partnering, decision support, reporting, budgeting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

 Work with the Financial Accounting Team to produce the month end results and Financial Reporting with relevant commentary and analysis.

 Balance sheet reconciliation.

 Opex and Capex management.

 Working with the contract managers and procurement teams to ensure the effective financial management of the operations and IT contracts.

 Act as business partner for the business teams, shareholders and suppliers.

 Provide support to Commercial Finance manager with financial analysis/modelling of commercial deals and decision support.

 Supporting Commercial Finance Manager in preparation of quarterly business plans, reforecasts and annual budgets in conjunction with the business and presentation to the parents.

 Establish and maintain strong relationships with shareholders and vendor teams.

 Provide ad hoc support as required by Commercial Finance Manager, Head of commercial Finance and Finance Director.

Your Profile

 Finalist or Newly Qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA)

 Strong excel skills,

 Excellent accounting knowledge.

 Experience of supporting the business in managing large budgets.

 Experience in managing senior stakeholders

 Strong controlling background.

 Ability to make decisions and take ownership

 Entrepreneurial abilities

Salary & Benefits

A highly competitive base salary of £45,000 - £50,000 plus 10% bonus, pension, healthcare and 25 days holiday and free car park on site. There are also other company specific benefits.
