Your new company
A nationally reputable organisation based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire have an urgent job vacancy for a Finance Business Partner, who will head up the IT Finance activity including governance and control of spend across the department.
Your new role
Working closely with the Procurement Team, you will ensure value for money at every stage of procurement processes, overseeing contract activity for the IT department. Managing a small team team, you will prepare accurate reports with regard to budget and forecast in order to track and challenge departmental spend. You will take a lead role in managing the Year End process for the department, monitoring prepayments and accruals, KPI's and monthly resource planning. Additionally, you will centralise and streamline procurement activity within the department and hold regular budget reviews with Senior Management.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience in taking an active role Public Sector tender processes. You will need experience in risk management, SLA reviews, budget, forecast and year end. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills will also be essential to be successful within this role.
