The successful capex Analyst will be responsible for the coordination of all capex planning and reporting activities for SO capex, including regulatory reporting. You will ensure that spend is correctly recorded and assets fairly stated and provide technical secretary support to the SO investment committee.

Description

As Capex Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinate the production of all month end reports for capex, providing quality variance analysis and commentaries
  • Work closely with Finance Business Partners to record risk and opportunities to drive business performance
  • Liaise with finance teams to ensure capex spend is correctly recorded and reported
  • Ensure assets are commissioned on a timely basis
  • Support the SO Investment Committee
  • Produce capex tables for annual RRP submission
  • Support the delivery of change across Finance and the business, embracing new ways of working and owning delivery of key KPIs to drive long term improvements

Profile

The successful Capex Analyst will:

  • Have experience in a business facing role in a large organisation
  • Be a qualified accountant with experience in a finance profession
  • Knowledge of SAP is advantageous
  • Have strong commercial acumen
  • Have excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Be a fast learner with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
