Challenging SME Financial Controller job - Swansea
Challenging hands on Financial Controllership for a successful growing owner-managed local business in Swansea. We are looking for a long term recruit, an enthusiastic outgoing team player to join this organisation during exciting times - plenty of scope to grow with the business.
The role is broad and varied and managing the full finance function for a multi million pound business, managing one member of staff. Using Sageline 50 and Sage Payroll you will oversee everything from the ledgers and credit control, invoice discounting, VAT, monthly management accounts through to commercial advice to the MD and managing bank relations. You will be able to make your mark improving systems, controls and processes along the way. The remit is also wider than finance and includes payroll, bonus structures and HR administration.
We are open to a high quality hands on industry or practice background candidate - the key is get up and go, commercial acumen and the ability to roll your sleeves up. Hours can be flexible though the role is full-time. The environment is professional though informal and friendly with it.
