This role will be responsible to drive the embedding of conduct related risk identification and good management practices within the first line, across our businesses, functions, regions and countries - through ongoing advice and development of practical guidance. Provide support and advice on various conduct initiatives and projects. Reviewing/drafting of ad hoc conduct related papers and reports - including on key themes arising from conduct metrics analysis. Responsible for the maintenance and development of the Conduct site on the Bridge

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Advising on the application of relevant regulatory requirements/guidance on conduct related matters including key topics facing stakeholders across the Compliance Function
  • Help to embed good conduct related risk identification and management practices within the first line of defence through ongoing support and development of practical guidance
  • Provide support on group led conduct initiatives and programmes and attend various project and team meetings representing Central Compliance
  • Assist where required in the preparation of management summary reporting and themes arising from conduct metrics analytics
  • Reviewing/drafting ad hoc conduct related papers and reports for various committees/forums.
  • Support the development of ongoing guidance and communications on conduct
  • Maintenance and development of the Conduct site on the Bridge

Qualifications and Skills

  • Understanding of FCA and PRA regulatory framework - in particular in relation to conduct related matters and guidance - and is able to apply these practically
  • Understanding of the Group's organisational structure and internal procedures
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills - ability to present technical information clearly
  • Networker. Comfortable dealing with senior managers across different countries and cultures
  • Excellent organisation skills, with ability to multi-task
  • Prioritises activities/projects according to business need - and ensuring activities are completed on schedule and to a high quality
  • Proactive and creative approach to work, self motivated and pragmatic. Takes responsibility and accountability for own tasks
